Basketball Recap: Fairlawn Takes a Loss

Fairlawn lost against Franklin Monroe back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Fairlawn took a blow against Franklin Monroe, falling 58-28. Fairlawn was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-12.

This is the second loss in a row for Fairlawn and nudges their season record down to 6-17. As for Franklin Monroe, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Fairlawn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin Monroe, they will face off against Newton Local at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin Monroe knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Newton Local likes a good challenge.
