Basketball Game Preview: Natomas Nighthawks vs. Dixon Rams

The Natomas Nighthawks and the Dixon Rams will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Natomas is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Rio Linda 91-36. The victory was nothing new for the Nighthawks as they're now sitting on five straight.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Dixon sidestepped Woodland for a 66-64 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Natomas has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points per game. As for Dixon, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Everything came up roses for Natomas against Dixon in their previous meeting on January 10th, as the team secured a 76-40 win. Does Natomas have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dixon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
