Softball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial lost against Stockdale on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Hawks fell 8-4 to the Mustangs. The Golden Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leah Barboza and Alex Andersen stepped up to the plate in a big way. Barboza went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Andersen went 1-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Stockdale, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-5.

Centennial didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Frontier on the 7th. As for Stockdale, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-7 loss against Liberty on the 7th.
