Cooper Kintzler Dazzles in Dubois Victory

Starting off the list is Dubois's Cooper Kintzler, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kintzler rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 63 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

On the season, Kintzler has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 122 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had one rushing touchdown.

Payson Pluhar Makes It Two for Dubois

Siler Hess Turns in Season-Best Performance

Siler Hess produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Dubois to the win on Friday. Hess rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 76 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also made 12 total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

This season, Hess has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 52.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to three.

HEM was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Samuel Ramirez did his best to prevent it. Despite the defeat, Ramirez was still balling out as he made ten total tackles.

For the season, Ramirez has averaged 12 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had nine rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 14.

Naythen Atencio Makes It Two for HEM

Another HEM player making an appearance on this list is Naythen Atencio. He picked up 76 receiving yards and a touchdown.

On the year, Atencio has caught 10 touchdowns while averaging 125.4 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 53.29 receiving yards per game.
