Basketball Recap: Midland Adventist Academy Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Midland Adventist Academy won the last time they faced Ozanam and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Midland Adventist Academy Mustangs blew past Ozanam 45-22. With the Mustangs ahead 28-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Midland Adventist Academy found their leader in sophomore Aiden Cowan, who went 8 for 15 on his way to 17 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Owolabi, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and five steals.

Midland Adventist Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ozanam only posted four assists.

Ozanam lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Parker Haegg, who earned eight points and four steals.
