Baseball Recap: Cleburne County Tigers vs. Cherokee County Warriors
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Cleburne County and Cherokee County have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Cleburne County Tigers walked away with a 7-4 win over the Cherokee County Warriors. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 6-3 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in June of 2022.

Tyler Rucker was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.
