Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Lexington's 13th in Last 16 Outings

If Fisher wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lexington, they should've done a better job of containing Blaine Friedmansky. The Lexington Minutemen breezed by the Fisher Bunnies to the tune of 68-35 on Friday thanks in part to Friedmansky, who went 11 for 18 en route to 27 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Steffa, who posted 11 points along with five assists and five boards. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Lexington is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Fisher, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12.

Lexington will welcome Deer Creek-Mackinaw at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lexington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.4 points per game this season. Fisher has already played their next match, a 50-40 loss against Salt Fork on the 1st.
