Sunrise Mountain has gone 3-0 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Sunrise Mountain Mustangs will face off against the Central Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

On Wednesday, Sunrise Mountain took their match with ease, bagging an 84-54 victory over Lake Havasu. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Knights are ranked 276th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Central entered their tilt with Chaparral on Monday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They put the hurt on the Firebirds with a sharp 80-56 win. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Central's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.3 points per game. As for Sunrise Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Sunrise Mountain beat Central 65-58 when the teams last played back in November of 2023. Will Sunrise Mountain repeat their success, or does Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
