Softball Game Preview: Nativity BVM Green Wave vs. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders

The Nativity BVM Green Wave will take on the Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Nativity BVM is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Nativity BVM came up short against Tri-Valley on Wednesday, falling 22-2.

Nativity BVM saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Covell, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They put the hurt on Weatherly with a sharp 25-10 win. The Red Raiders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Arianna Adams was a standout: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two doubles. Those five hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reaghan Fuller, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one double.

Our Lady of Lourdes Regional always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .711. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Nativity BVM's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, their record is now 2-10.
