Cocoa entered their tilt with Eau Gallie on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eau Gallie Commodores 72-15. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 140th, while the Commodores are ranked 508th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cocoa pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points per game. As for Eau Gallie, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Cocoa will square off against Palm Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palm Bay knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Cocoa likes a good challenge. As for Eau Gallie, they are taking a road trip to challenge Satellite at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
