Soccer Game Preview: Chief Sealth vs. Franklin

The Chief Sealth Seahawks will challenge the Franklin Quakers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Chief Sealth and Eastside Catholic have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Seahawks lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. While losing is never fun, Chief Sealth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 177th, while Eastside Catholic are ranked 36th).

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Franklin brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They never let Nathan Hale get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Friday. That five goal margin sets a new team best for Franklin this season.

Chief Sealth's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Franklin, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.
