Waverly waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lincoln Northeast Rockets. The Vikings were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Rockets, so the Vikings were just returning the favor.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Waverly to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ansley Real, who had ten digs.

Waverly's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Lincoln Northeast, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Waverly has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lincoln Southeast on the 3rd. As for Lincoln Northeast, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Columbus.
