Basketball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 37-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hagerman Pirates.

Hagerman got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Allison Asher out in front who posted six points along with 18 rebounds and three steals. Those 18 boards gave Asher a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Krickit Wise, who put up ten points and four steals.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hagerman, their record now sits at 3-5.

Cascade didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 29-26 win against Vision on the 13th. As for Hagerman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 91-33 loss against Valley on the 17th.
