Soccer Recap: Lynnwood Comes Up Short

Lynnwood fell victim to Shorecrest and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Scots by a score of 1-0.

Lynnwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Shorecrest, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lynnwood will square off against rival Mountlake Terrace at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Shorecrest is set to take on their familiar foe Archbishop Murphy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
