Recap: Taylor Allderdice Dragons vs. Avonworth Antelopes
The Taylor Allderdice Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Avonworth by a score of 79-69. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Taylor Allderdice had a senior duo take command as Logan Golle scored 25 points and Major Rainey scored 21 points along with eight rebounds. The game was Golle's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Pavle Slepcev was another key contributor, scoring two points along with 14 rebounds and six assists.
The win makes it two in a row for Taylor Allderdice and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Avonworth, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Taylor Allderdice will be home for the holidays to greet Pine-Richland at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pine-Richland and Taylor Allderdice are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Avonworth, they will head out on the road to face off against Union Area at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Area will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 519th, while Avonworth is ranked 75th).
