Football Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Middletown can now relate to. They fell 22-18 to the Redding Christian Lions on Friday. It was the first time this season that the Mustangs let down their fans at home.

Levi Putnam produced another solid effort rushing for 171 yards and a pair of TDs for Redding Christian. Putnam's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 106 rushing yards.

Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Redding Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Middletown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Redding Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Woodbridge at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
