Soccer Recap: Liberty Christian Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Liberty Christian was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against the Union City Indians, falling 6-0. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Liberty Christian it sure didn't stay that way.

Liberty Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Union City, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4-1.

Liberty Christian didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 9-0 win against Elwood on the 2nd. As for Union City, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-2 victory against Knightstown on the 2nd.
