Berks Catholic has gone 8-2 against Tulpehocken recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Berks Catholic will venture away from home to square off against Tulpehocken at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Berks Catholic was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Conrad Weiser on Tuesday. Berks Catholic's pitchers stepped up to hand Conrad Weiser a 6-0 shutout.

Owen Schalk was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Dom Valent was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Tulpehocken posted their closest victory since April 10, 2024 on Monday. They skirted past Lancaster Mennonite 4-2. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won three games in a row.

Aidan Schwalm made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Schwalm was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jared Baer, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.

Tulpehocken pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Berks Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Berks Catholic skirted past Tulpehocken 4-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Does Berks Catholic have another victory up their sleeve, or will Tulpehocken turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
