Baseball Recap: Spiro's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

If Spiro was riding high fresh off their 10-3 takedown of Roland last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Spiro fell just short of the Red Oak Eagles by a score of 8-7 on Tuesday. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Spiro fell to 7-1. As for Red Oak, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spiro will challenge McAlester at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Red Oak, they will square off against Smithville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
