Baseball Game Preview: Anderson County Bearcats vs. Lafayette Generals

The Anderson County Bearcats will face off against the Lafayette Generals at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Anderson County and four for Lafayette.

Anderson County managed to slip by Paul Laurence Dunbar the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bearcats came up short against the Bulldogs on Monday, falling 10-0.

Anderson County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Cole, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Lafayette came up short against Franklin County on Wednesday and fell 11-7.

Anderson County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Lafayette, their loss dropped their record down to 24-16.
