The Wilcox RVT Wildcats will face off against the Windham RVT Mighty Tigers at 11:00  a.m.  on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Wilcox RVT barely beat Platt RVT the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp  13-2 win on Friday. The  victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

 Chloe Enger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 15 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sam OlechowSki, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Ashley Stimpson, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances.
 Wilcox RVT  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .543. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .528 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Windham RVT was not the first on the board  on Friday, but they got there more often. Everything went their way against Grasso Tech as they made off with  a  14-2 win.
Like Wilcox RVT, Windham RVT also got a great game from a two-way player:  Hailey Andrews. She  struck out 13 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   ten  hits. Andrews was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Adrianna Vazquez was a standout: she scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.  Madisen Yanez was another key player,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Wilcox RVT's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Windham RVT, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
Monday's   match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wilcox RVT has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .606. However, it's not like Windham RVT struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .600. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Everything went Wilcox RVT's way against Windham RVT in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024, as Wilcox RVT made off with  a  17-0 win. Do  the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mighty Tigers turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
