Volleyball Recap: Tri County Takes a Loss

Tri County was the 2-0 winner over Fillmore Central when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Sayber Hoesche paced Tri County's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hoesche got some help from Macey Gronemeyer and her 26 assists. Kenzi Scherling controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Ashlynn Childs went supernova For Fillmore Central., getting 20 digs. Those 20 digs gave Childs a new career-high.

Tri County's defeat dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Fillmore Central, their record is now 10-17.

Tri County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Sandy Creek on the 16th. As for Fillmore Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Centennial at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
