Soccer Recap: St. James Comes Up Short

St. James came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-0 to the St. Clair Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against St. Clair this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

St. James' loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for St. Clair, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6-1.

St. James didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-0 defeat against Blair Oaks on the 5th. As for St. Clair, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Wright City on the 6th.
