Volleyball Game Preview: Barrington Fillies/Broncos vs. Hamilton Chargers

The Barrington Fillies/Broncos will challenge the Hamilton Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Barrington took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Rolling Meadows.

Barrington didn't let Rolling Meadows take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22.

Hamilton not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on West Allis Hale with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hamilton took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12, 25-13.

Barrington's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Hamilton, their win bumped their record up to 28-4.
