Volleyball Recap: Tri-Point Chargers vs. Grace Christian Academy Crusaders
Tri-Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Grace Christian Academy Crusaders. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September.
Tri-Point was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22.
Tri-Point's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Grace Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.
Tri-Point will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cornerstone Christian at 6:30 p.m. on October 24th. Grace Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
