Basketball Game Preview: Chestatee War Eagles vs. Lassiter Trojans

The Chestatee War Eagles and the Lassiter Trojans will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Chestatee has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 21.

Last Saturday, Chestatee came up short against West Hall and fell 45-32.

Meanwhile, Lassiter also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Centennial by a score of 54-47. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chestatee will need focus on slowing down TJ Shinkle, one of several Lassiter players who made an impact when they last played. He went 5 for 12 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Liston, who posted 11 points.

Chestatee's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lassiter, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
