Flag Football Recap: Rancho Cucamonga Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 31 points the game before, Rancho Cucamonga was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost to the Etiwanda Eagles at home by a 26-12 margin. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

A big part of Etiwanda's win came down to the chemistry between SHELBY HONG and her top target NAHDEEN PURVIUS-ROMERO. HONG rushed for 45 yards and one score while PURVIUS-ROMERO picked up 45 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Rancho Cucamonga's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Etiwanda, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Rancho Cucamonga wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 33-24 defeat against Poly on the 25th. As for Etiwanda, they have also already played their next game, a 30-20 win against Torrey Pines on the 26th.
