Basketball Recap: Kennedy Triumphs

Kennedy won the last time they faced Hollywood and things went their way on Friday too. The Kennedy Cougars came out on top against the Hollywood Sheiks by a score of 49-39.

Kennedy had a senior duo take command as John Estrada went 7 of 13 on his way to 14 points in addition to six boards and five assists and Joshua Saldana went 6 for 8 on his way to 15 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Aldrete, who posted eight points.

Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Hollywood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-37 defeat against Muir on the 28th. As for Hollywood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 80-20 victory against Marshall on the 28th.
