Findlay is 8-2 against Central Catholic since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Fighting Irish at 5:00 p.m. Findlay is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Central Catholic's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Monday: Findlay hadn't allowed a single run the last four times they've hit the field. The Trojans never let Clay get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Friday. The game was the first time the Trojans have beaten the Eagles on their field since May 27, 2021.

Meanwhile, Central Catholic came up short against Brother Rice on Saturday and fell 8-5. The Fighting Irish have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Jack Zelmanski and Dre Wardrop stepped up to the plate in a big way. Zelmanski went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Wardrop went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Wardrop has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Josh Rahe was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base.

Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Findlay, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Findlay was able to grind out a solid win over Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 4-1. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Fighting Irish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
