Basketball Recap: Salisbury Hornets vs. Thomasville Bulldogs
Make it 12 blowout wins for the Salisbury Hornets this season. They claimed a resounding 77-31 win over Thomasville on the road. Winning may never get old, but Salisbury sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Leading Salisbury to victory were Mike Geter and Jayden ?Juke? Harris. Geter scored 16 points, while Harris scored 22 points. Harris is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 18 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hank Webb, who scored nine points.
Salisbury has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Thomasville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
Salisbury will be playing at home against the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Davidson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 370th, while the Hornets are ranked 39th). As for Thomasville, they will head out on the road to take on the Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
