Game recap: Archbishop Rummel High School Football Team defeats Brother Martin

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Damian Williams in the first quarter, Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, La.) led 42-14 at the half.

The Raiders expanded their lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. Archbishop Rummel scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Keith Fulton.

With the win AR extended its winning streak to nine games. The Metairie school defeated the Bluejays 38-17 last week.

When the two teams played each other last season, the Raiders came away with a 24-17 victory.

The defeat comes as a step back for Brother Martin, which notched a 35-6 victory over Landry in its previous outing.
