Softball Recap: Warren Central Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Warren Central and Bowling Green had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Dragons came up short against the Purples on Thursday, falling 18-0. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Purples recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Warren Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Bowling Green, they now have a winning record of 13-12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warren Central will face off against Fort Campbell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowling Green, they will challenge Todd County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.61 runs per game on average), something the Purples will no doubt try to take advantage of.
