Basketball Recap: Excel Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Excel were outmatched by Shields and fell 59-4. Excel was not able to make up for their defeat to Shields from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Excel's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shields, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Excel will challenge W.S. Neal at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shields, they will square off against Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
