Lincoln-Way East posted their closest win since August 30th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Griffins.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Lincoln-Way East who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 17-25, 25-22.
