Volleyball Game Preview: Churubusco Eagles vs. West Noble Chargers

The Churubusco Eagles will face off against the West Noble Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Churubusco lost 3-0 to Angola on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-14.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Noble, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Eastside 3-0 on Tuesday. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Blazers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

West Noble not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Eastside between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 25-16.

West Noble found their leader in sophomore Kailyn Slone, who had 11 assists and five digs. Beverly Viscaino also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Churubusco's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for West Noble, their win bumped their record up to 21-2.
