Volleyball Game Preview: Proviso West Panthers vs. Hinsdale Central Red Devils + How To Watch

Proviso West is 0-7 against Hinsdale Central since September of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers will take on the Red Devils at 5:30 p.m.

On Monday, Proviso West came up short against Oak Park-River Forest and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-10.

Timothy Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Hinsdale Central proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trojans, sneaking past 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Devils as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Hinsdale Central who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 20-25, 25-22.

Proviso West's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Hinsdale Central, their victory bumped their record up to 12-17.

Proviso West couldn't quite get it done against Hinsdale Central in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
