Softball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Chaminade's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Chaminade won against Arbor View on Thursday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Chaminade walked away with an 8-4 victory over Tournament Team. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Casey Glantz was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Norah Pettersen, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.

Chaminade was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Chaminade is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Chaminade has already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Bishop O'Dowd on the 21st. As for Tournament Team, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Palm Beach Gardens on April 5.
