Volleyball Recap: Cypress Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Cypress was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Warren last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Centurions fell just short of the Orange Lutheran Lancers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Centurions in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost four in a row.

Cypress couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Orange Lutheran a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 29-31, 25-17, 25-8, 23-25, 15-12.

Orange Lutheran found their leader in sophomore Mila Premysler, who had 11 digs and two assists. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Premysler.

Cypress' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Orange Lutheran, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Cypress will face off against Millikan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Orange Lutheran, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Saint Joseph on the 3rd.
