PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - After trading leads four times,
Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) snatched the lead for good when
Daniel Parr threw a touchdown to
Johnnie Dixon in the third quarter, paving the way for victory over
Niceville (Fla.) 55-33.
The two teams were tied at 20 heading into halftime. The Panthers took the lead indefinitely on a touchdown pass by Parr to Dixon in the third quarter.
Dwyer locked in the win by scoring 14 points in the fourth quarter to push the final margin to 22.
The Eagles came in surrendering 15.1 points per game this season.
The loss comes after Niceville defeated Osceola 31-30 last week.
