Bristol came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their match with ease, bagging a 79-22 victory over the Lordstown Red Devils. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Red Devils are ranked 854th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bristol pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points over those games. As for Lordstown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
