Soccer Game Preview: Viewmont vs. Bountiful

The Viewmont Vikings will square off against the Bountiful Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Viewmont's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Viewmont's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Skyline 1-0. The victory was some much needed relief for Viewmont as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Raegan Rast, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Bountiful won against Skyline last Thursday with four goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Monday. The Redhawks came out on top against Alta by a score of 4-2. That's two games straight that Bountiful have won by exactly two goals.

Bountiful's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Viewmont, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.
