Baseball Game Preview: Columbus Cardinals vs. Industrial Cobras

For the second straight game, Columbus will face off against Industrial. Columbus will take on Industrial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Columbus will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

While Columbus' win against Industrial wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Columbus had just enough and edged out Industrial 5-3.

For Industrial's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Warren, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Warren also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another was Cooper Martin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Columbus' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Industrial, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
