Whiteville has gone 10-0 against West Columbus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. After both having extra time off, both will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. Whiteville will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

West Columbus found their leader in freshman Demya Powell, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Powell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Iyana Lowery, who posted 13 points.

West Columbus smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

West Columbus' victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Whiteville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
