Baseball Recap: Holbrook Comes Up Short

Holbrook managed to slip by Alchesay the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Roadrunners lost 10-4 to the Falcons on Tuesday. The Roadrunners just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Ben Eisele was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Niko Espitia, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Holbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Alchesay, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Holbrook will face off against Joseph City at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Roadrunners are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Alchesay, they will square off against Show Low at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
