Soccer Game Preview: Saugus vs. Valencia

The Saugus Centurions will head out to take on the Valencia Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valencia took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Saugus, who comes in off a win.

If Valencia heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Saugus took over last week. The Centurions had just enough and edged out Canyon 2-1. That's two games straight that Saugus have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Valencia's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to Hart. Valencia have struggled against Hart recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Saugus' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Valencia, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Saugus was able to grind out a solid win over Valencia in their previous meeting back in January, winning 2-0. Do the Centurions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
