Volleyball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Andrean Fighting 59ers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting 59ers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-12.

Andrean can attribute much of their success to Dani Poskin, who had 30 digs and three assists. Poskin is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 21 games she's played. Kaylee Bradley also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Andrean, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-14 record this season.

Highland will host Munster at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Andrean, they are taking a road trip to take on Hammond Bishop Noll at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
