Softball Game Preview: Stratford Spartans vs. East Nashville Magnet Eagles

For the first time this season, Stratford will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the East Nashville Magnet Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stratford will be strutting in after a victory while East Nashville Magnet will be coming in after a defeat.

Stratford is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Maplewood as Stratford made off with a 30-2 win.

Meanwhile, East Nashville Magnet had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 15-0 to St. Cecilia Academy.

Stratford suffered a grim 25-0 defeat to East Nashville Magnet in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Stratford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
