Football Game Preview: Kickapoo Chiefs vs. Ozark Tigers

The Kickapoo Chiefs will head out to challenge the Ozark Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kickapoo will be strutting in after a win while Ozark will be coming in after a loss.

Kickapoo took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Waynesville, posting a 52-7 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Chiefs' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 41 points the game before, Ozark was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by Nixa and fell 56-7. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Kickapoo's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Ozark, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Kickapoo didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Ozark in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 14-9 victory.
