Recap: Dewey Bulldoggers vs. Pawhuska Huskies
The Dewey Bulldoggers lost against the Pawhuska Huskies back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Dewey's tough 56-30 defeat to Pawhuska might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dewey has scored all season.
It was another big night for Trenton Miles, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 17 rebounds for Pawhuska. The contest was Miles' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dax Godsey, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Dewey's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Pawhuska, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Dewey is on the road again on Thursday and play against Salina at 5:30 p.m. on January 4th. As for Pawhuska, they will be playing at home against Pawnee at 8:20 p.m. on Thursday.
