Volleyball Recap: Phillips Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Phillips was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-7.

Phillips' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Horizon Science Academy-Southwest, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Phillips has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Englewood Stem on the 2nd. As for Horizon Science Academy-Southwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Bogan on the 2nd.
